About

20 years ago, when Loni Moyer began her career in the green industry, she began a lifelong love affair; mucking-in the mud, fighting off bees, nurturing gardens. She found her true calling. Seeking to spread her horticultural expertise and indulge her lifelong passion for flowers while having fun and making a living, she dreamed up Garden Girls in 2002 and opened for business a year later with a new pick up truck, a shed full of tools, and an excellent crew of experienced workers who weren’t afraid of a pink flower or two. Nineteen years later, Garden Girls has grown to include multiple crews and additional landscape designers, and has transformed landscapes in homes throughout Annapolis.
Most of our new business comes to us through referrals or word-of-mouth, so Loni would like to thank our loyal customers for helping Garden Girls grow!

Bay Friendly

We’ve spent most of our lives on the magnificent Chesapeake Bay, and we care deeply about its health and future viability. With that in mind, from the very first day of business, we’ve tried to “go green”whenever possible, using sustainable landscaping practices, environmentally-sensitive design principles, and bay-friendly, organic products in our landscapes.
Contact us to learn how we can help you to garden using native plants, rain gardens, passive irrigation, rainwater capture, and xeriscaping (planting with drought-tolerant plants,) all means to conserve precious water. Or, schedule a consultation with a designer to design a lovely native planting that can replace the water-hungry lawn you’ve grown tired of mowing while providing habitat and food for birds and other wildlife. Together we can work to safeguard the unique and wonderful treasure in our backyard.

We couldn’t be happier with the work Garden Girls did for us... With only four days' notice, they were able to spruce up our yard before our daughter’s wedding shower.
